‘Wat Po to Juno’ Thai Massage – As It Is

The first time I received Thai massage was at Wat Po in Bangkok.  The setting was quite surreal as I waited in line and admired the inspirational architecture of the Thai temple.  Upon entering the Thai Yoga room I witness many people receiving Thai massage in one large open room with many therapists working at once.  I received the most invigorating and relaxing bodywork I could have imagined and fell in love with Thai massage.  It has been a dream of mine for several years to try to recreate this same atmosphere in my hometown.  Several local massage therapists have been training at our school and we are now ready to initiate our first ever ‘Wat Po to Juno.’  It is our hopes to create a welcoming and healing environment for you to fall in love with Traditional Thai massage as well.

Tamara took this photo today of the 9am crew. Marking the last class in the “little” yoga room. I remember when we were looking for a space to open Native Yoga. We were so excited when we found our location. We knew at the time that the space seemed a little small but we wanted to play it on the safe side. We are nearing our 5th year anniversary and are so excited to be breaking down the wall today. A special thank you to all of the yogis who have helped to make this happen. With all of your support, Native Yoga is expanding. Looking forward to practicing with you all in the “new” room.
